PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR COTTON KNIT BABY BLANKET.This baby blanket is made from combed long-fibre ring spun cotton yarn. Ring spun cotton yarn is softer and more durable than open end cotton yarn. Cotton is natural. Unlike synthetic fibres, cotton will not generate static electricity. Cotton blanket is breathable and comfortable. The blanket is knitted from modern sweater knit machine. Sweater knit blanket is more flexible, breathable and softer than woven blanket. The blanket is durable and easy care for everyday use. No harmful chemicals are used. Our blanket is O1111eko-tex certified. Blanket is pre-washed. Pre-washed finish provides a better hand touch and lower the shrinkage rate in the future washes. Sizes and Colors can be custom-made. What is GOTS?
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well. Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria. The choice of accessories is limited in accordance with ecological aspects as well. A functional waste water treatment plant is mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must comply with minimum social criteria. What are natural fibres?
Natural fibers are fibers that are made out of natural materials that come from plants, animals, or minerals. The raw, natural materials are spun into threads and yarns that are then woven or knit into natural fabrics. There are two general categories of natural fibers: animal-based or plant-based. Animal-based natural fibers include silk, wool, alpaca, cashmere, while plant-based natural fibers include cotton, linen, and jute.What are advantages of Using Natural Fibres?
